Well, we all know that Chronic DevTeam released another update of their most popular JailBreak tool called Absinthe to untether JailBreak iOS 5.1.1. Just now, they have pushed yet another update of it called ‘Absinthe 2.0.1’ which fixes couple of little bugs. So if you have been facing any issues while trying to JailBreak any of your iDevices, please use the latest version to JailBreak.
Although Chronic DevTeam have not mentioned about these little bug fixes in Absinthe 2.0.1, but it’s most likely that almost every problem which you had faced would be fixed. Also make sure that you have saved SHSH Blobs for your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad on iOS 5.1.1. Once Apple has released another software update, you won’t be able to downgrade if you don’t save these SHSH Blobs now.
Unlockers who rely on ultrasn0w should wait for Redsn0w to be update, so that you could make a custom firmware and preserve the baseband of your iPhone 4. On the other hand, SAM unlock method is still applicable. If you had saved validations ticket previously for a specific micro-sim card, it could be used to unlock on iOS 5.1.1 yet again after the JailBreak.
